Player of the year
Jessie Moulton, Huntingtown senior defender
Two-year captain; four-year letterman; six goals, including three in SMAC-clinching win over Lackey on Oct. 23; three assists; helped hold opposing offenses to 13 goals with eight shutouts.

Northern (eighth season)
Final record of 14-3, 9-2 in SMAC; started season with 2-1 loss to defending 3A South regional champion Huntingtown on Sept. 11 but avenged that with 3-1 win in the first round of the Patuxent tournament Sept. 30; defeated Patuxent, 3-0, to win aforementioned tournament; after first Hurricanes loss, won 12 straight games; 2-0 record in overtime; 5-3 record in one-goal games; 4-2 record in county games; scored four or more goals eight times; went five games late in the season without allowing a goal; in 3A South regional playoffs, defeated Westlake, 4-0, and Chopticon, 5-0, before falling 1-0 to Huntingtown in regional final.

Midfielder: Dori Gedridge, Patuxent junior
All-SMAC first team; team-high 16 goals; scored four goals against McDonough and three each against Lackey and McDonough.
Forward: Chelsea Stern, Northern junior
Led Northern in goals with 18; notched hat trick against Thomas Stone and in 3A South regional semifinal win over Chopticon; scored two goals each against McDonough and Patuxent in regular season matchups; scored seven goals in four-game span early in season; scored eventual game-winning goal against Panthers in championship game of Patuxent tournament.

Forward: Kelly Kady, Huntingtown sophomore
Nine goals, including three against Calvert in consolation finals of Patuxent tournament; three assists; 38 shots.

All-SMAC first team; eight goals, including winner against La Plata; 14 assists, including three against Stone and two each against Patuxent and Calvert; had at least one point in 13 of 17 games.
