The restaurant, which spent three days preparing 17 turkeys and the trimmings, and SMILE (Sharing Makes Independent Living Easier) expected to serve a free turkey dinner to up to 300 people. The organization's food pantry handed out 461 Thanksgiving dinner boxes prior to Thursday, up appreciably from the 250 it gave out last year.
