Four suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred Dec. 1 at a St. Leonard home.
After executing search and seizure warrants on Dec. 2 at about 3:40 p.m. at the addresses of three suspects in the home invasion and robbery on Mackall Road, Det. Michael Mudd of the Calvert Investigative Team arrested Lusby residents Derek Craig Bradley, 21, and Stephen Greenlee Joseph, 19, and Bryan Edward Seay, 20, of Port Republic. All were served warrants charging them with armed robbery, three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of second-degree assault, first-degree burglary, reckless endangerment, three counts of false imprisonment, theft less than $1,000, handgun violation use in a felony and handgun on person.
Carlene Danielle Pedersen, 19, of Lusby was also arrested and charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary and three counts each of first- and second-degree assault.
The arrests stem from a home invasion on Dec. 1 in which three hooded men with guns invaded a St. Leonard home and demanded that the occupants get on the floor, then stole prescription medications. After interviewing the victims and getting a description of the suspects, detectives of the C.I.T. got warrants for the three individuals. One victim told detectives that he saw a female in a vehicle with its engine running at the intersection of Matapeake Court and Mackall Road near the home.
Pedersen posted bond on Dec. 3 and was released from custody. The remaining three suspects are currently being detained at the Calvert County Detention Center after bail reviews on Dec. 3, judicial records state.
