The Bowie Center for the Performing Arts has something special planned for the 225 birthday of the U.S. Constitution with the help of a Bowie resident and Prince George’s County teacher. On Sept. 17, the center will feature a recitation of the entire Constitution from memory by Bowie resident T.S. Grant, an author and orator. Grant had previously recited the Constitution from memory in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center in 2007 in honor of the 220th anniversary of the document, which was drafted in 1787, he said. Tickets are $20. The event is free to students of Prince George’s County Public School system.
