La Plata's train station has long been a symbol of the founding and growth of the Town of La Plata. It is also the sole surviving passenger station on the Pope's Creek Line of the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad. The La Plata Train Station Museum is perfect for train enthusiasts and anyone with an interest in local history.
