On July 13th, the American Chestnut Land Trust (ACLT) will host the Southern Maryland Nature Fest to celebrate the numerous extraordinary nature parks, hiking trails, eco-tourism farms and nature museums located right in our own back yard!

Nature organizations from across the region will be there with exhibits and activities for the whole family, including hayrides, live animal exhibits, kids' crafts and games, "Linda's on the Go" Food Truck, and of course, information about the beautiful places to experience nature right here in Southern Maryland!

Free giveaways for the first 200 attendees! This free event will take place at ACLT's north side trail head located at 676 Double Oak Road in Prince Frederick. While you're there, you can learn about ACLT's 22 miles of free trails, guided canoe trips and land conservation activities. Please visit www.acltweb.org for more information, find us on Facebook, or call 410-414-3400.
