Brandywine bus collision on Md. 5 sends driver to hospital Wednesday

A Wednesday morning three-vehicle collision in Brandywine on Md. 5 sent the driver of a Keller bus to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Maryland State Police.

A Brandywine accident involving a bus Wednesday morning sent one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

According to Maryland State Police Barrack L Forestville, which is investigating the accident, a three-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 7:18 a.m. on Branch Avenue/Maryland Route 5 in Brandywine, south of the intersection with Surratts Road.

One of the vehicles, a Keller bus, sustained damage to the front of the vehicle. The driver of the bus was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Maryland State Police continue to investigate the collision and no further details are available at this time.
