The Center for Health Sciences, the second building on the College of Southern Maryland’s regional Hughesville campus, will be home to CSM’s health sciences programs. The Center for Health Sciences is projected to be completed in March 2021 and will be approximately 50,000 square feet, designed to LEED standards.
There will be specialized nursing and allied health labs for programs in nursing, emergency medical services, occupation therapy/physical therapy, massage therapy, pharmacy technician/medical assistant and medical laboratory technician.
In addition, the center will feature advanced simulation lab, traditional classrooms, computer labs and conferences rooms, nursing and allied health faculty offices, an advising suite and a large multipurpose meeting room.
