Airman 1st Class Mozingo completes basic training

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Rebecca Mozingo completed basic training in San Antonio, Texas.

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Rebecca J. Mozingo graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Mozingo is the daughter of Kimberly A. Mozingo of Charlotte Hall and James M. Mozingo of Shady Side, and sister of Jacqueline M. Downie, David A. Mozingo and Dillon M. Mozingo of Charlotte Hall.

She is a 2014 graduate of La Plata High School. She earned an associate degree in 2018 from the College of Southern Maryland.
