The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the help from the public after a death was ruled a homicide.
Shaquone Anthony Johnson, 32, of Waldorf was found dead in a wooded area on the 7900 block of Gilroy Road in Nanjemoy by Charles sheriff’s office deputies just after 7 p.m. on Sept. 6.
An autopsy was performed on the body on Sept. 9 and determined the cause of death was a homicide, and the investigation is still ongoing.
Investigators have asked anyone with information to contact Detective Johnson at 301-609-6453.
A reward of $5,000 has been posted for anyone with information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
