The Bill of Rights, initially 12 amendments (two ultimately weren’t adopted), were submitted to the state legislatures on Sept. 25, 1789, to clarify certain individual and state’s rights not named in the Constitution. The Bill of Rights were ratified Dec. 15, 1791.
The Second Amendment says: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
The emphasis is “people,” and there are no exclusions in the right to keep and bear arms.
Every incident of gun terrorism that had a bad result was a soft target where good people did not possess a gun. When good people with a gun were present, the result was much better.
The people who want gun control and confiscation have walls around their residences and bodyguards like Sens. Van Hollen and Cardin and Congressperson Hoyer. The fact people overwhelmingly voting for these violators of our sacred Constitution is completely irrational.
They believe in security for themselves and not for everyone else. They do not support the Constitution but disregard it.
