ABC7/WJLA-TV and Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) presented a special evening of celebrations and tributes to 8,000 seniors in a virtual graduation. ABC7 anchors Jonathan Elias and Michelle Marsh, radio host/comedian Joe Clair and local radio personality Taylor Thomas hosted the 90-minute eGraduation Celebration with Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson, a 1988 Oxon Hill High School alum, appearing as the commencement speaker. Special appearances from other notable PGCPS alumni included actor-comedian Martin Lawrence, singer-actress Mya, actress Kellie Williams Jackson, Pittsburgh Steelers Cornerback Joe Haden, Phoenix Suns Head Coach Monty Williams and many more. Singer-songwriter Kenny Lattimore performed a special musical tribute. The names of approximately 8,000 graduating seniors were displayed during the presentation.
